Does anyone else think Michael Nutter's bicycle Greenway in Philadelphia was a stupid

idea? I mean, if you're going to close off two entire lanes of traffic in Center City, shouldn't you be creating parking with those lanes and producing revenue for our city's ailing economy? I'm all for the environment but it doesn't seem like bicycling should be this man's top priority.
 
Yep, its stupid. Its also despicable that a city full of people who are paying taxes, watch as their money goes to pay for street signs telling visitors that Philly is proud of gays prancing down the streets on parade - we also pay for the damn parades, the last one costing almost a million in taxpayer money. Then they whine about the budget?
Good decent people who pay taxes in philly are moving out in droves. Let the fat gay guy in the pink see-thru nightie
w/ matching feather boa who fondles the privates of another fat gay guy after french-kissing him, PAY FOR THE CITY. Thats the display children are forced to watch as it strolls down the street where they play in their yards.
Bicycle paths are the least of Philadelphia's problems.
A few decent respectable people running the City would be a damn good start.
