does anyone else have a problem with there motorola rival?

ok, before i begin my complaining, i'm going to saay i never droped it, never in water or anything. and this is my 3rd fone of this kind.
all the problem are,

1. my touchscreen most of the time never works.
2. everytime i slide it open or close it, it turns off.
3. evertime i go into my messages it turns off.
4. it can only be on for 3 minutes without it turning off.
5. it always calls the 1st person in my fone.
6. if its sitting on a desk, it will go to my contacts, go to incase of emergency and keep doing it and it does that all the time.
7. freeszes
8. slow as ever.

its like my fone doesn't need me. it does everythinng by itsellf. does it do thaat stuff too yuurs?
 
I dont know what to say i have had my motorola rival for 3 months. I replaced my first becasue i dropped that one. I love it. At times it will shut off but not too often. Sometimes it will start moving by itself (the touchscreen) but as soon as i close the phone its fine. I dont have the other problems you have.
 
I Do not have this phone but i do work for verizon. Have you gotten the phone wet? If not then it probably either needs a software flash or you may need to get a new one. i havent heard many good things about that phone if they need to get you a new phone you may consider asking for a differeny model of phone.
