Does anyone but me render the "when does human life begin" thing moot with this...

...notion (details)? In my way of thinking about it, human life is passed from generation to generation, in an unbroken.series of events. So in effect, human life does not begin when born, at a certain stage of fetal development, not even at conception. It just continues. As far as this applies to abortion, it comes down to how much value you place on human life at what stage. And face it, we all have differing values, and even within our selves we all value different humans or different stages of humans differently. For instance, it is typical for a person to feel an octogenarian sacrificing their life for a teenager to be better than the other way around. And almost nobody places a great deal of value on gametes.

As far as what value I place on this continuation of human life at which stages, I'm still working on that. But for myself, I've settled the part about when human life begins. Anybody else?
