Does anyone actually know of a dog that has died from eating chocolate, grapes, avocado?

We read that here a lot... "don't feed your dog grapes, don't feed them chocolate, don't feed them avocados, they will die!"
But I have never read of a case where someone's dog has died eating those, nor a dog getting really sick from those things. Never. If someone has an actual reported case with documentation, then please, by all means come forward. But there is even a company that sold Venison & Avocado dog food for a long time and no problem with dogs dying or getting so sick.

grapes are the perfect size to choke a dog, that is why. ive never heard of avocados, probably the pits too. BUT only dark chocolate will kill a dog, too much regular chocolate could but it will usually only make them sick. there are many stories i have heard of peoples dogs dieing from those things. ask any vet.
