Okay, it is NOT Grimm's Masterpiece Theatre. It's not any sort of Japanese animation. It was more cartoon-like, dark, and sort of demented now that I think about it. It didn't even tell the fairy tale directly but mixed some, I could recall Snow White, Hansel & Gretel, Jack & the Beanstalk and I believe Cinderella were a few of those episodes. I'm 16 right now so it would be along the 90's time range, I used to watch it back in the Philippines. It would be a great help, thank you!
