I love their sweet vinegary beets, it seems like they boil them and pickle them. It's delicious. Every I'm there, I can't get enough of them delicious beets. Do you know how they cook it or have a similar recipe? Thanks!
I don't know if Hometown Buffet is located in other states in U.S., but we do in Southern California.

Just look up a recipe for pickled beets. The beets are boiled and cooked in water and then put in jars and covered in a brine made of water, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices. Most recipes make a lot and then you have to go through the canning process. I love pickled beets, but don't like to deal with the mess, so I just buy them in grocery stores.
