Does anybody know a good photographer for burlesque/masquerade photography?

The closest I can think of would be Oscar Gustav Rejlander born in 1813. He did some tableau vivant work. Probably the best known is 'The Two Ways of Life'

I am starting my A2 project in photography and need an artist(s) to base my work around as i want to do something along the lines of recreating burlesque images.
