how many times can a ex call the kids during the day and how late at night. I know he calls to ask them if im home or has anyone been over we have 4 weeks until the divorce. If we are asleep he leaves mean and nasty talking messages on machine to me.
 
Turn of the ringer and the machine at a set point each night. During the day when you are home, turn of the machine. Let it ring. I don't know the laws, but if he calls excessively you probably could get him for harassment. To do that, though, you'd probably want to save some of those nasty messages on your machine.
