Does any one have any idea what is the best software to convert video file for a Panasonic Viera p50x3.?

Does any one have any idea what is the best software to convert video file for a Panasonic Viera p50x3 SD card. I tried DVDfab8 I can see video but no sound.
Note on the manual Book The file format can be mpeg but the sound has to be mp3.
Any help will be greatly appreciate Thank You!!
