Does any one else get annoyed with Xfactor because...?

I have tried to explain this to a few people who love X Factor but they cant see my point. Does anyone else find it slightly insulting that they make this program, create LOADS of hype over these contestant singers and do horribly sleezy gimmicks like getting other famous singers to duet with them all to make money at the end of it? Like no one seems to realise tis a huge money stealing con. I dont get why people buy into this horribly obvious marketing scam, the whole show is just a clever way to make loads of money and guarantee someone will go straight to number one at the end of it, thus making even more money. Anyone agree or have views?
 
I understand your point about getting mega famous people to duet with them, I was watching the final until they got other acts to perform with them!

I found it cheep and beyond desperate to get stars like Beyonce and Westlife to p the profile of the singer trying to win!
