Hello, I am currently in college right now almost getting my associates degree. I don't really want to continue after that since what I am studying is Networking IT. I heard a lot of people just go with the CCNA cerfiticate and are good to go anyways. I heard though that I can become an E-3 in the Army with an associates degree which would be in Networking IT. Is this true right after boot camp? and if so what would an E-3 be as far as rank? Looking to join the Army at the age of 36.
Does an associates degree give me a higher rank in the military?
