Does Adobe Flash Player have any effect on saved video files? Read Details?

I wanted to update my Adobe Flash Player from version 9 to version 10 but before I do, I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't have any negative effects on my saved video files on my computer. I have avi, mkv, mp4, and rmvb video files that I watch using Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, Quicktime, ActiveX, Xvid, and RealPlayer. So would updating my Adobe Flash Player have any negative effect on my vids and the ability to watch them? Thanks, in advance.
