I'm going on a cruise in November with a group of friends and I want to take my phone with me. The cruise departs from Miami, we stop in Key West, we stop in Mexico, visit the Caribbean, and then go back to Miami. What I'm wondering is will my phone work in Mexico? Will I be able to send and receive text or calls? Texts specifically. If so, how much is it? I don't want to switch to an international calling plan unless I have to. Give me as much information and detail as you can and if you have no experience with this, please don't just suggest something off the top of your head. Thanks!
