Does a sports fan girl care if her date (a guy) doesn't care about sports?

I don't mean a girl that just likes to go to sporting events; I mean a girl that has a favorite team, knows the players and gets upset when they lose. I'm just wondering, since I don't really care about sports that much (but do enjoy watching or going to a game once in a while), would it be a problem.
