Does a Pontiac Trans Am bumper fit on a Firebird?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Firebird. I need to replace the front bumper after a minor accident. I found a great deal on a 2000 Trans Am bumper. Can I use this to replace it?? The seller is advertising it as Firebird bumper, but its clearly a Trans Am's.

The bumper is the same. The bumper cover is what you are calling a bumper. It is made of a plastic like substance. If it is not torn it will return to its original shape if heated with a heat gun. The bumper behind it is steel and if bent it must be straightened or replaced separately and like I said it is the same. As a matter of fact, it is the same as the Camaro. It is $84 and some change for a new one from Certi-fit. You might want to replace it yourself and then see if a shop can heat the cover for you so that it will return to its pre-accident shape (if not torn).

Andrea,
The Trans-Am front cover will fit, but you will have recesses in the lower part for driving lights that you do not have on the Firebird cover. The trans-Am is a spin-off of the firebird, hence the name Firebird Trans-Am.....Great cars, fun to drive......
