J jeffery w New member Apr 19, 2010 #1 I'm about to buy a new LCD tv.I would like to mount it above the gas fireplace.It does get a little warm above the mantel.My idea was to mount it about 1' above the mantel.Will the heat effect the set? Will it damage it in anyway? Please help
