ive worked they for more than 3 months. yesterday i told her that min wage went up to 7.25 an hour. i only make get this 6 bucks an hour. and you know what she told me that it does not affect them none. i know its horrible but im the only person workin in my house so i cant just give the job up. if you can find any information on the matter please tell me the source.
thats the thing to i dont get tips either, even tho i serve ppl she only allows her "handicaped" sister to pick them up becasue "she dosent get a check"

i think that would depend on your position. if you are making tips, they are not required to pay you minimum wage.

Ok. So I work in a family owned restaurant and I asked my boss the same question.(Min, wage increased to $7.21 from $6.79, but it will be $7.25 in July) He implied this. "They send us a letter telling us how much we pay our employees." Basically, they'll tell the owners the new prices, and they have to pay that price. Restaurants are different from other places like retail when they both pay min wage.
