Does a faint line on a early pregnancy test mean it's positive?

I am 39 and took an early pregnancy test this morning The line was faint but somwhat visible. I bought this particular test online so I figured it might be a bad test. I went ou later in the dayt and bought another test from CVS and it was faint but visible to the eye. I remember with my first 2 children the tests were also sort of faint. I have a gyn appt made but wondering if anyone has had faint lines on their early preg. tests
 
Yes, you are pregnant. It detects the pregnancy hormone and can be faint in the beginning because there isn't as much present in your urine. The line gets darker the further along you get. I used a CVS, too!
 
with my pregnancy now and my daughter i had very faint line and i was preg but i was just newly pregnant so the answer to your question is yes.. goodluck and takecare
