If one person has been only with a few people in serious, long-term relationships and they are dating someone with quite an extensive sexual history, will this cause problems in the relationship? Do you think have different values?
My boyfriend is a wonderful person....great friend, loving son, and sweet boyfriend. He did get around quite a bit in college, though. Whenever he brings up his sexual history at all, I find I get really upset and jealous. I don't want to judge him and ruin what we have, but I have told him that this bothers me. He has been very devoted to me and never even flirts with girls when we go out with our friends to bars.
Do you think sexual history can come between 2 people? I don't want it to, but it does upset me to a certain degree and I can't help it.
