does a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee rquire a high altitude carberator adjustment?

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used to live at an elevation of 6500 ft above sea level and my vehicle ran great. Now I live at 200 ft above sea level and the car is difficult to start since the day I got here. Does the carberator need to be adjusted for the change in altitude or is it done automatically like newer vehicles and I have another problem??
