I am looking at the 2011 Dodge 3500 crew cab pick up with the Cummings diesel engine VS the 2011 Ford F350 crew cab with the Ford diesel engine for towing a fifth wheel RV. Towing range is about the same. Not interested in the dual rear wheels as that does not increase towing capacity.
Any comments about which is best? The Dodge is cheaper and the Cummings is a slightly better rated engine but Fords are built tougher and last longer.
