I have a 1986 Dodge ram b250 with a 318. mY ISSUE is still the engine cutting itself off. This whole buisness started about 4 weeks ago when I drove to a friends house and the engine started dying. At one point the engine briefly according to the gauge got hot but afterwards did not.. After this it would routinely shut down. I belief the overheating was due to the fan not spinning, the belt for the fan was broken. I got a new one. Stayed on for awile. After this it started back up again, as always I sprayed the carb with cleaner, that gotme going but after awile the check engine light would come on for awile. My oil gauge would read high preassure. But just yesterday it stopped reading high preassure and went a little below the H. Now the check engine light is off but the engine is still dying but nothing is over heating. Idon'tknow what to do here...
