Dodge is put together with same parts as 1960s and 70's as cummings was bought from Ford 44 years ago. They use old technology as the hemi which has little differance except fuel injection which is not a big change. They have high Horsepower but does little as torque is low for 345 HP as it is 265. Hp does not make car go fast or have power. It gives you top end and ability to stay at a speed. Torque gives you power and speed. The Tundra V6 has more torque and is much faster as is Tacoma V6 which is 265Hp and 295 Torque. They always have at least a 5000.00 rebate , free hemi upgrade, or cashback as they are cheap to build and the mark up is high so getting 5000.00 off is a big people getter who did not read Motor trend, JD powers ect. Looks are nothing if truck is sitting in yard. The resale is terrible as you can get a 5 year old Ram 2500 with diesal and 4 doors with all options and will new be 30.000.00 and will be worth now `with normal wear and tear 7000.00. Another thing is you pay if 30K 30,000 + interest which will be approx 36,000 and in 5 years truck will be worth 7000! You lose 29,000!!! Lease for 3 years if anything as then you are protected and will not lose that much. a 4 year lease with a ram will be about 500.00 with 2500 down which is 26500.00 and give back and are not in hole for 7000.00. Try Tundra 5.7 crew cab with 385 HP and 415 torque with 1 ton bed and pulls 12,000lb'[s not 6500 like Dodge. It is fastest in world stock truck, highest resale, highest clearance, carries most weight for size and for 30,000 this truck in 5 years is worth 20,000 with normal wear and tear. It is built in America Too.
