I have a 2005 Ram Hemi Reg. Cab, Nothing special.
Standard Mods.
Flashpaq Tuner.
I made a CAI with pvc pipe and a cone filter.
Exhaust has been changed to a "true Y" with Magnaflow muffler.
My question involves the stock Heavy 20" rims/tires.
How much more acceleration would a set of aluminum 17" rims and tires do for it?
I made a cpl of passes at the local dradstrip (1/8th mile). Best E.T. was a 9.84.
I will not run it at the strip again unless I acquire a set of smaller, lighter rims if I feel they will make a substantial difference.
