I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500. I just put 35's on it and im wondering about my gear ratio. right no I have a 4.10 but Im thinking I should bump that to around 4.56 should I? if I do it I think that should give me my Fuel mileage back right?

NO What a lot of people fail to understand is the higher the number the lower the gear. Its like this 4:10 to 1 gear, the driveshaft turns 4.10 times to turn the axle one time. 4:56 to 1 gear, the driveshaft now has to turn 4.56 times to turn the axle one time. What happened is the taller tires have your speedometer and and odometer wrong, you need to stop by the Dodge place and have the computer rest for your new tires. Your going to find the truth is the tall tires raised your effective gear ratio and in fact your getting better mileage now.
