I am taking a trip to oregon this week . A long drive. I beleive my fan clutch is slipping just a little. The truck runs around 190-200 with a 180 T Stat installed but is not stable, jumps arund some but not over 200 YET. I put in the 180 last week, used to have a 195 and was around 210 but would move to 230 and up if i worked it. I would like to know how safe it would be to take this truck if it is slipping some? I plan on replacing i the clutch in a few weeks. mostly highway travel but some grades over into oregon.
