2006 Dodge Ram 2500 2WD Megacab Normally when you turn the wheel all the way to the left or right and hold it you hear the hissing sound from the power steering pump? All of th sudden now, when turning left or right no where near the locking point it makes that loud hissing noise as if the wheel is maxed out at the left or right. Example:
Normal left/right hand turn..hissing, back out of a parking space or pull in where turning is required.....hissing. Pretty loud.
It stops when I apply the brakes while turning? Any solution? Would a flush of the system work?
Fluid levels were a bit low but I topped them off, this did not solve.
