I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L v8
It has a hard time starting and you have to put it in neutral to get it going and you have to keep reving it or it will die. The truck does not go into park. How much am I looking at to get this fixed? The truck has 244,000 miles on it but I love my truck and basically I have fixed everything in my truck. I have $4000 saved up and debating whether I go to a shop and tell them do whatever to make it run nicely and tell them my budget? I'm 19 working full time and going to school full time so I dont have time to mess with it myself, any help would be nice.
