Dodge Neon PCM Question?!?

I want to replace the PCM in my Dodge Neon. Does the part number on the DONOR PCM have to match the part number of the original PCM? I have a 1996 Dodge Neon, 2.0L, SOHC, Manual Transmission. Any info would help!!!
