I currently own a 96' neon, and in the future I might want to get a newer neon, like 2000 or up. anyone have any comments? Good car/ Bad Car? ETC? thanks
Aren't civics made by Honda?
I don't do foreign : /

i had a 95 neon and as much as i loved it (tough love), i just put way to much money into it (modifying, and parts going bad), nothing wrong with imports though, but if your gonna get anything i suggest and eclipse (sporty, good mpg, safe)

I'd say you should consider buying a same class but Japanese car. Dodge Neon are extremely unreliable in my opinion. I'm a long time Japanese car owner. My friend has a 10+ Nissan Sentra and it runs like a new car. I find that Japanese cars are very reliable , very user friendly and saves a hell of a lot of gas. I also find that American cars always misses the details. I was going on a road trip in my buddy's old Dodge Caravan. We went to get some coffee and the double cup holder was not wide enough for twp small coffees. We had to kinda stack it and the results was a mess. If you're looking for a used small size car like a Neon, consider a Nissan Sentra, Toyota Corolla or a Honda Civic instead. Even if you go off road and go crazy with them they are still very tough. There's rarely any engine problems. As long as you maintain it and bring it to check up every once in a while it should last as long as you should.

why not try a civic, accord or 240 theyre pretty cheap and easy to customize

their good cars for the money they cost,i owned a 97 model for a long time and put well over 200 k on it and now i got a 2002 model with about 130 k on it and its doing real good, they hold up well if you maintain them,if not their like any other car they will tear up,the worst thing that happens on those is the transmission problems they give and the head gaskets blowing, good luck.
