So I have 2004 dodge neon that wont accelerate with up hesitating..by hesitating i mean i literally feel like the little engine that could trying to get it to gain speed...it does this up until about 40 mph and then its fine til it hits 60mph thats when it really starts jerking violently...i took it to the garage last may for this problem and they told me to change the wires it was fine for a while but then started doing it again..also it doesnt start right away...it turns over but it takes me pumping the gas a bit to get it to actually start..any suggestions on what it could be? its not really safe to ride on the highway because of this and thats my way to work! any help would be appreciated
