Dodge Neon 1996 transmission problems please help? read?

I just bought a dodge neon and its standard and was working fine but now it won't go into first gear at all and goes into reverse really rough and also where do i put transmission fluid in at or what could i do to fix it fluid? Transmission rebuild kit? anything and price please i need this car
