Okay so i just climbed under my 01 ram 1500 5.2L V8 2wd to measure the muffler because i am thinking about buying a new one. Now what i measured is behind the rear axle and is definitely part of the exhaust. It measured out to be 34 inches and all of the flowmaster vehicle specific mufflers are in the 20s. Do i have to run extra pipe to make up for the extra space or did i not measure the muffler?
