there are 3 things that an engine needs to run. air, fuel, and spark. first check these 3 things. first i would check to make sure you are getting air. like check to see if your filter is clogged. then check fuel. the easy way to do this is to pull the supply fuel lines from the intake manifold and have someone cycle the key a few times for you. (dont start it. just turn it on and off a few seconds at a time) this will cause the fuel pump to run which will push fuel out of the supply lines you took off. also when doing this listen closly to see if you can hear the fuel pump running. it makes a light humming noise. if you have fuel, and you have air then check spark. to do this just pull one spark plug wire. and then take out the spark plug that the wire attached to. put the spark plug back in the wire but not in the engine. now take the spark plug (attached to the wire) and hold it near to a ground source. (engine block, fender wall. pretty much any metal without paint) now make sure it is not near any of the fuel that came out when checking for fuel. then have someone crank the engine over a few times while you hold the spark plug on a ground and watch for a spark. it should be a solid blue/purpal spark. if you have all 3 of these things and the engine still does not run there is one other possibitlity. your catilitic converter may be plugged. but in order to check this you will have to bring it to a shop becuase it requires special tools to test. so check for spark, fuel, and air first.
