I have a '90 Dodge Dynasty and is randomly won't turn over and start. I've had it looked at and the only difference I can tell is that the ignition is tighter and more difficult to turn. However, the actually problem of it not starting is still quite prevalent. It sometimes takes me in excess of 10 minutes to get it started. Once it does start it runs just fine and the problem only seems to persistent when the car has been off sitting for more than 30 minutes.
Things I've Tried:
- different sets of keys for the car
- different ways of starting it (ie. pushing in and turning, turning quickly..)
I don't know enough about cars to pinpoint the problem. Can any one point me in the right direction? Especially in terms of terminology.
Also, the battery in the car is new and fully charged.
