DODGE DAKOTA 3.9 V6 EXHAUST?

i have a 1989 dodge dakota that i just got done doing an engine overhaul on. i want to upgrade to a pair of headers rather than the stock exhaust manifolds. as some of you with V6 dodge dakotas might know, headers for that particular engine are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. but anyway, i found a pair on ebay and it says for '92-02 dodge dakotas. my question is: are the exhaust ports on '89 3.9 blocks the same as they were in '92? could i still use the headers on my '89? looking at my buddy's '95 dakota, they both look exactly the same under the hood. same exhaust manifolds and everything. so i dont see why i couldnt use the '92-'02 headers. give me your thoughts please. id really appreciate it ya'll
