both built by the same company as we all know,but slightly different body styles and both had the same engine and transmissions options available to either car,the main difference was the badge they wore ,both basically built on the same platform though,and all options that one had the other could have also,it was just a way to capture more sales through two different type cars,both excellent cars to own,some just preferred the look of the cuda over the challenger,good luck.
