Ok, the van turns on just fine and runs fine but then all the sudden, without warning or gesture of failure, in the middle of the drive, it just fades off.
No gesture, no signal nothing, it just does. The fan keeps spinning though
We check the basics oil, gas, etc and even put in some of the necessary oils but it did the same.
Is a 90's dodge Caravan (I think 95)
it turns right back on and drives a few yards but then it can turn off again at any minute
Someone gave me this answer before:
Possibly fuel pump going bad. Can't keep up with needed flow to drive but can keep up enough to restart and idle and start down the road, then it starves out.
But I would like a second opinion.
What could be the reason other than the fuel pump?
Could it be the spares?
I constantly keep 10 dollars in the tank and when I get paid I fill it up
