damage when van was stolen.? The dealer Did a Diagnostic test on the van because it wouldnt start and said the reason for this is bcause the COMPUTER SYSTEM WENT OUT,when the van was stolen. They want to replace it for 900.00. I was told that it could be easily be replace w/ one from the Junk yard providing its a similar make model and year.. I dont wanna spend 900.00 it is a old van more over I bought another van . I am willing to replace the computer w/ one from the junk yard and dnt mind paying the dealer to reprogram it . but do any one know of this working b4 . I understand that the computer almost never go bad. but mine was damage when the ignition switch was rip out. I have replace the ignition but it still doest start. per the dealer it is because the computer was damage.
