Dodge Caravan 2000 - Power Outlet is powerless - help!?

I checked the fuse box under the dash... I couldn't find any fuses that were labeled with anything that indicated power outlet (or cig lighter or accessory power). So I checked all the fuses and they all looked good.

Next I checked the fuse box next to the battery under the hood... The only thing I found that looked like it was relevant was a relay labeled "Cig & Accessory Relay" which at the cost of $8 I replaced. Still no difference...

I checked the user manual and a repair manual and can't find anything. I checked online and couldn't find anything...

The outlet quit working when my wife tried to use a vacuum cleaner in the outlet using a 200W converter (don't ask me why). She said it just died out, no pop, no smoke... but the fuse in the converter was fine too...

Also, the power outlet in the rear of the van also does not work (though we never used it so it may never have worked i suppose).

I tested everything with the ignition on and off, with the van running and not running... no difference...

Can anyone help me with this problem? It is kind of urgent (we're planning a family trip and it's coming up very soon)

Thanks in advance!

there are fuses for that one clearly marked for it,recheck those and also check the little ground wire on the back of the plug sometimes they will come off causing this too happen, pull one of the plugs out and check the positive wire for power but don't use the supplied ground wire form the lighter plug,if you get power that indicates you have lost the ground wire for them, good luck.
