Dodge Caliber... Good or Bad?

I might have to buy a new car shortly. I am kind of interested in the Dodge Caliber. Has anyone owned one or know anything about them? I haven't even test drove it yet. I just know a couple of people that own them and really like them... Though some reviews online gave them a 6/7 out of 10 for quality.

Dodge Caliber is good but not great it will get you around and nice if you have kids.

I have a friend who has a transmission shop, he says if it wasn't for Dodge, he'd go broke. Always check the tranny real well before buying a Dodge. Geuss that's true for any car or truck, but that's my only caveat.
