M Medic2006 New member Mar 16, 2009 #1 My transmission is starting to slip when i first accelerate. Does anybody think additives really stop a tranny problem or should i bite the bullet and get a rebuilt. And by the way. Why don't you get a brand new transmission instead. Why rebuilt?
