I am suffering chronic nausea and was going to have an abdominal ultrasound but it requires a fast. The problem is I haven't been able to go a single night without waking up in the night to eat for a year, so it's impossible for me to fast. I get nauseated and hypoglycemic if I go more than 2 or 3 hours without food. Is there any other stomach test that can be done to show what may be causing this that I can do without having to fast?
