constipation.? I have serious constipation that has been going on for about more than a year. I discovered that you can get colon cancer, irritable bowel disease, and other conditions. I got really scared so I went to a doctor to tell him about my constipation. He asked me if I take laxatives which I do, cause it's the only way something comes out. (no matter how long I try to go without it) He then told me to eat fiber/healthy, drink water, and exercise. The funny thing is thats the whole reason i started to get constipated.
I told him my worries of cancer or diseases. But all he said was that i'm being paranoid and i'm to young. In my opinion, I don't think age matters when the problem is serious (i'm 14 turning 15).Whether it's cancer or not, I might just have some disease. You never know...idk i'm very lost right now and the whole point of going to the doctor has still not been fixed.
I don't no how to calm down when my own doctor won't check or examine if i even have any problems. Please help me on what I should do.
