Hi everyone,

I have a problem regarding my files on docs to go. Everytime I sync my T3, my files keeps on duplicating. The number of files equals the number I sync my unit thus eating a lot of memory space. How can I solve this? As a containment, I have to delete them every after sync to free up the memory space.

'appreciate your help.

It should be possible to go into the Documents to Go desktop utility and configure the document synchronizing options. You can chooses which documents to synchronize, category, storage location, etc.

dwinget,

Thanks for the immediate reply. I will try tweaking the options at my docs to go and give you feedback on the results.

Again, thanks a lot!

I had the same problem, though I should mention that I was snycing with two PCs.

This works, for one PC, just ignore the references to the second PC.

1.) Make sure that you can locate the most up to date versions of your files
on one hard drive or the other.

2.) Remove all of the files from Documents To Go on both computers.

3.) Set the HotSync action to "desktop overwrites handheld." This is going
to wipe out everything on the handheld.

4.) Re-add the files into Documents To Go on one computer and set the
HotSync Action to "desktop overwrites the handheld."

5.) Open Documents To Go on the second computer which should also be empty.
Go to the Tools -> Preferences -> and set the Default Document Location to a
location that makes sense. (This is where we are going to upload all of the
files from the handheld.

6.) Sync the handheld with the second computer. The link should once again
be established with the two computers and moving forward everything should
be all set. Just remember to consistently synchronize your device every
time you make a change to the file (on the handheld or either desktop)
before and after taking it to the next computer.
