...poems, thanks? The Time Thief

The seasons come, the seasons go
From winter chill to bursting spring
Then summer suns, and leafy fall.
Whilst all around I sense the change
The loss of you remains the same.
Death can steal time,
But can't rob memories
Or kill love

(written after my Dad died at 60)

Pandora's Box

Secrets in the bureau
Locked inside the heart,
Reveal a shrouded sorrow
A young life torn apart.
Concealed from the family
Too painful to discuss,
Buried in the memory
Forever collecting dust.
Now Pandora's box has opened,
The past unveils and bares,
The soreness of an early life
Which never could be shared

(written after the death of my father-in law)
