I'm having trouble fully understanding the rule. I'm 15 and like bad with math so could you explain and maybe suggest what I can bring for the 3 week camping trip? Like can I bring Pantene for Colored women (shampoo and conditioner) and a tube of toothpaste?

Also how much would everything be if I have a hiking pack and a suitcase. Can I put some of my gear in the hiking pack? And can I take the sleeping bag with me as a carry on?
