I doubt it. even stretching our current tech to the theoretical limits would not allow for any reasonable travel to another star. It would take generations. Even light speed is maddeningly slow when faced with the expanse of deep space. Unless a species has come up with something totally outside our ability to comprehend, they would be as stuck as we are to their home world. Even if they did master interstellar travel, the most logical move would be to send out AI probes, which require far less baggage than living crewmen.
