Do you think, walking 2 and a half hours to work, but not back home okay.?

Because i have no Bike, i don;t drive a car and the buses around here, don;t run til 5:30.I start work at 6:30, it's an hour trip via bus.SOOOOOOO, i think my best option is to walk there.I'm not old, i;m only 23, so my body can handle it.However coming back home i'd be able to get the bus home.
