ok, i have a friend well not like close friend. she is a very smart and quiet girl, never like to talk to anybody in school. sometimes, i did see her talks. at lunch time, she sat alone throughout the whole year doing her works. she has very less friends who like her alot. she never gets angry at anyone in school, her attitude was normal. oh yeah , she came from another country and looks like hispanic (maybe not). when i mean she's smart ( straight A student) doesn't mean she doesn't speak English.

how did she act like that??

It's all on how she is.
She is who she is ..she's just being herself
Maybe she's not one of those people wo likes to talk and gossip a lot. Maybe she's one of those serious people in life who really want to get things done and go to a really good university.
Listen people are differnet and have differnet attitudes.
Just because she's quiet doesn't mean she's weird and as you said ..she comes from a differenet country..maybe she's adjusting to the environment :D

okay no offense but i just think your being an insensitive bitch because some people take longer to make friends or open up to people because they just do and you dont know wat the hell shes been throught or know! maybe she just dont like that particular group of people at you school cause i kno i damn sure wouldnt like you and the way peopl act today all bitchy and untrustingly why be all up peoples ass [like yours for example] to anwser your question no i do not think shes weird seems like she havent caused trouble or messed with anybody so get a life ass holeee!!
 
Maybe she just likes to keep to herself and doesn't want anyone hindering her learning precess. I was the same way when I was in middle school and I was a straight A student. There's nothing wrong with it or her. She just probably wants to make sure her grades stay good. She's a smart girl :D
 
My understanding is you are only going to be happy with answers that support the viewpoint you've decided.

Why ask a question?

The girl may be perfectly happy or she may be extremely lonely. have you ever spoken to her?

She is straight A , are you? Maybe you are jealous?
 
I don't think she is weird, she's just different. She doesn't have to talk to people, its her choice. Just because she's quiet doesn't mean she cant talk, maybe she doesn't like you or the people around the school. I don't talk to people who i don't like either. But think about it, shes from another country, maybe she is still adjusting but no matter what, if your really concerned about then try to be her friend. Maybe shell give you the time of day. Just because someone doesn't talk as much and isn't as retarded as everyone at school doesn't mean shes weird. people with good education and take there grade serious end up with better and more paying jobs in the feature. She's bomb!!

I guess she might fears some of the kids in your school. She keeps the feeling inside so she acts normal. Same as my highschool, this girl is smart.
But sometimes in class we had presentation, she couldn't speak loud enough for people to hear.
i really think she's shy and that's just the way she is, no one can change it.
If you would like to make her talk, try talk to her everyday either in class or at lunch.
